TITLE 1 - CRIMES AGAINST PERSONS


1(01) - FIRST DEGREE MURDER - FELONY

The intentional killing of another person by someone who has acted willfully, deliberately, or with planning.

Potential Charges: Court hearing is REQUIRED

1(01A) - ACCESSORY TO FIRST DEGREE MURDER - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with disposal, crime scene tampering, withholding information from law enforcement, and/or planning before or after the offense is committed.

Potential Charges: Court hearing is REQUIRED

1(02) - SECOND DEGREE MURDER - FELONY

Murder that is not premeditated, or murder that is caused by the offenders reckless conduct that displays an obvious lack of concern for human life.

Potential Charges: Court hearing is REQUIRED

1(02A) - ACCESSORY TO SECOND DEGREE MURDER - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with disposal, crime scene tampering, and/or withholding information from law enforcement before or after the offense is committed.

Potential Charges: Court hearing is REQUIRED

1(03) - MANSLAUGHTER - FELONY

Manslaughter is the act of killing another human being in a way that is less culpable than murder.

Potential Charges: Court hearing is REQUIRED

1(03A) - VOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER - FELONY

Intentionally killing another person in the heat of passion and in response to adequate provocation.

Potential Charges: Court hearing is REQUIRED

1(03B) - VEHICULAR MANSLAUGHTER - FELONY

Negligently or intentionally causing the death of another person using a vehicle.

Potential Charges: Court hearing is REQUIRED

1(03C) - INVOLUNTARY MANSLAUGHTER - MISDEMEANOR

Negligently causing the death of another person.

Potential Charges: Court hearing is REQUIRED

1(04) - ATTEMPTED MURDER - FELONY

Attempted murder is the failed or aborted attempt to murder another person.


1(04A) - ATTEMPTED MURDER OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER - FELONY

Attempted murder of a Law Enforcement Officer is the failed or aborted attempt to murder a peace officer.


1(04B) - ATTEMPTED MURDER OF A PUBLIC SERVANT - FELONY

Attempted murder of a Public Servant is the failed or aborted attempt to murder a Public Servant.


1(05) - AGGRAVATED ASSAULT - FELONY

Intentionally putting another person in reasonable apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact. Physical injury is not required.


1(05A) - ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON - FELONY

Intentionally putting another person in reasonable apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact while using a weapon. Physical injury is not required.


1(05B) - ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON WITH INTENT TO KILL - FELONY

Intentionally putting another person in reasonable apprehension of an imminent harmful or offensive contact with a weapon. Circumstances must establish an intent to kill.


1(06) - ASSAULT & BATTERY - FELONY

An intentional unpermitted act causing harmful or offensive contact of another person.


1(06A) - ASSAULT & BATTERY OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER - FELONY

An intentional unpermitted act causing harmful or offensive contact with the person of a government official.


1(06B) - ASSAULT & BATTERY OF A PUBLIC SERVANT - FELONY

An intentional unpermitted act causing harmful or offensive contact with the person of a Public Servant


1(07) - MENACING - MISDEMEANOR

Knowingly placing another person in fear by means of a threat or physical action


1(08) - KIDNAPPING - FELONY

An act or instance or the crime of seizing, confining, or abducting a person by force or fraud often with a demand for ransom or in furtherance of another crime.


1(08A) - KIDNAPPING OF A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER - FELONY

An act or instance or the crime of seizing, confining, or abducting a Law Enforcement Officer by force or fraud often with a demand for ransom or in furtherance of another crime.


1(08B) - KIDNAPPING OF A PUBLIC SERVANT - FELONY

An act or instance or the crime of seizing, confining, or abducting a Public Servant by force or fraud often with a demand for ransom or in furtherance of another crime.


1(08C) - ACCESSORY TO KIDNAPPING - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with seizing, confining, abducting, withholding information from law enforcement, and/or planning before or after the offense is committed.


1(08D) - UNLAWFUL IMPRISONMENT - MISDEMEANOR

The illegal confinement of one individual against his or her will by another individual in such a manner as to violate the confined individual's right to be free from restraint of movement.


1(08E) - ATTEMPTED KIDNAPPING / KIDNAPPING OF A LOCAL - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to seize, confine, or abduct another person.

1(08F) - ABUSE OF A LOCAL- FELONY

The intentional act of inflicting bodily harm to a local.


1(09) - CRIMINAL THREATS - MISDEMEANOR

Intentional behavior that would cause a person of ordinary sensibilities to fear injury or harm.


1(09A) - CRIMINAL THREATS TOWARDS A LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICER - MISDEMEANOR

The crime of criminal threatening a Law Enforcement Officer while he or she is conducting their lawful duties.


1(09B) - CRIMINAL THREATS TOWARDS A PUBLIC SERVANT - MISDEMEANOR

The crime of criminal threatening a Public Servant while he or she is conducting their lawful duties.

TITLE 2 - CRIMES AGAINST PROPERTY


2(01) - FIRST DEGREE ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of another, from his or her person or immediate presence, by force or intimidation in high trafficked areas of population.


2(01A) - ACCESSORY TO FIRST DEGREE ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with the taking of money or goods in the possession of another, withholding information from law enforcement, and/or planning before or after the offense is committed.


2(01B) - ATTEMPTED FIRST DEGREE ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession of another.


2(01C) - SECOND DEGREE ROBBERY - FELONY

All robberies that are not covered under the First Degree Robbery charge.


2(01D) - ACCESSORY TO SECOND DEGREE ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies that are not covered under the First Degree Robbery charge.


2(01E) - ATTEMPTED SECOND DEGREE ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession of another.


2(01F) - STORE ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of a convenience store or liquor store.

 

2(01Fa) - ACCESSORY TO STORE ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of a convenience store or liquor store.


2(01Fb) - ATTEMPTED TO STORE ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession  of a convenience store or liquor store. 


2(01G) - ATM ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of an ATM.

 

2(01Ga) - ACCESSORY TO ATM ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of an ATM.


2(01Gb) - ATTEMPTED TO ATM ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession  of an ATM.

2(01H) - BANK TRUCK ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of a banking truck.

 

2(01Ha) - ACCESSORY TO BANK TRUCK ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of a banking truck.


2(01Hb) - ATTEMPTED TO BANK TRUCK ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession  of a banking truck.


2(01I) - BANK ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of a bank.


2(01Ia) - ACCESSORY TO BANK ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of a bank.


2(01Ib) - ATTEMPTED TO BANK ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession  of a bank.


      2(01J) - PALETO BANK ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of the Paleto bank.

2(01Ja) - ACCESSORY TO PALETO BANK ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of the Paleto bank.


2(01Jb) - ATTEMPTED TO PALETO BANK ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession  of the Paleto bank.


      2(01K) - PACIFIC BANK ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of the Pacific bank.

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of the Pacific bank.

The taking of money or goods in the possession of Vangelico Jewelry.

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of Vangelico Jewelry. 


2(01Lb) - ATTEMPTED TO VANGELICO ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession  of Vangelico Jewelry. 


2(01M) - YACHT ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of a Yacht. 

 

2(01Ma) - ACCESSORY TO YACHT ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of Yacht.


2(01Mb) - ATTEMPTED TO YACHT ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession  of Yacht.


       2(01N) - HOUSE ROBBERY - FELONY

The taking of money or goods in the possession of a home or property.

 

2(01Na) - ACCESSORY TO HOUSE ROBBERY - FELONY

Intentionally assisting, aiding, or supporting the principle offender with all robberies of a home or property.


2(01Nb) - ATTEMPTED TO HOUSE ROBBERY - FELONY

The failed or aborted attempt to take money or goods in the possession of  a home or property.


2(02) - BURGLARY - FELONY

The crime of breaking and entering into a structure for the purpose of committing a crime. No great force is needed if the entry is unauthorized.

2(02A) - POSSESSION OF BURGLARY TOOLS - MISDEMEANOR

Possession of tools that, in conjunction or alone, can be used to burglarize a structure.


2(02B) - GRAND THEFT - FELONY

Larceny of property having a value greater than $10,000


2(02C) - PETTY THEFT - MISDEMEANOR

The act of unlawfully taking and carrying away the property of another valued under $10,000.


2(02D) - GRAND THEFT AUTO - FELONY

Larceny of a vehicle.


2(02E) - RECEIVING STOLEN PROPERTY - MISDEMEANOR

The offense of acquiring goods with the knowledge that they have been stolen, extorted, embezzled, or unlawfully taken in any manner.


2(02F) - POSSESSION OF A STOLEN VEHICLE - FELONY

The offense of acquiring a vehicle with the knowledge that they have been stolen, extorted, embezzled, or unlawfully taken in any manner.


2(02G) - CARJACKING - FELONY

The act of attacking a driver of a vehicle in order to rob from the driver, or steal the vehicle.


2(03) - TRESPASSING - MISDEMEANOR

To commit an unlawful injury to the person, property, or rights of another, with actual or implied force or violence, especially to enter onto another person's land wrongfully.


2(03A) - TRESPASSING ON GOVERNMENT PROPERTY - MISDEMEANOR

Entering onto government property without proper authorization.


2(03B) - TRESPASSING ON A SECURED GOVERNMENT FACILITY - FELONY

Entering onto Secured Government property without proper authorization.


2(04) - GENERAL LOITERING - MISDEMEANOR

The act of remaining in a particular public place for a protracted time, without any apparent purpose.


2(04A) - LOITERING ON GOVERNMENT PROPERTIES - ORDINANCE VIOLATION

The act of remaining in a particular Government property for a protracted time, without any apparent purpose.


2(05) - LITTERING - ORDINANCE VIOLATION

Willful or negligent throwing, dropping, placing of any litter on land or water, other than appropriate storage containers or areas designated for such purpose.


2(06) - ARSON - FELONY

The act must be willful and deliberate, demonstrating an intention to start a fire.


2(07) - VANDALISM - MISDEMEANOR

Willful or malicious damage or destruction of the property of another.


2(07A) - CAR SCRAPING - MISDEMEANOR

Willful or malicious damage or destruction of vehicles unowned by the individual without probable cause.


2(08) - ANIMAL ABUSE - FELONY

Inflicting physical pain, suffering or death on an animal, usually a tame one, beyond necessity for normal discipline.


2(08a) - ANIMAL FIGHTING - FELONY

Forcing an animal to inflict physical pain, suffering or death on another animal, usually a tame one for sport or otherwise.


TITLE 3 - CRIMES AGAINST PUBLIC PEACE


3(01) - IMPERSONATING A PEACE OFFICER OR PUBLIC SERVANT - FELONY

A person who falsely holds himself out as a peace officer or other public officer or employee with intent to mislead another into believing that he is actually such officer commits the offense of impersonating an officer.


3(02) - POSSESSION OF STOLEN IDENTIFICATION - MISDEMEANOR

Every person who, with the intent to defraud, acquires, transfers, or retains possession of the personal identifying information of another person


3(03) - EXTORTION - FELONY

The act of obtaining money or some other thing of value by the abuse of one’s office or authority.


3(04) - MONEY LAUNDERING - FELONY

The process of making illegally-gained proceeds appear legal through placement, layering, and integration.


3(05) - HARASSMENT - MISDEMEANOR

The act or instance of tormenting, vexing, or intimidating based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, or genetic information of another individual.


3(05A) - STALKING - FELONY

Engaging in a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would cause a reasonable person to fear for his or her safety or the safety of others or suffer substantial emotional distress.


3(05B) - DOMESTIC VIOLENCE - FELONY

Any use of physical, psychological, or emotional force that causes bodily, emotional, or mental harm or puts the victim in fear of harm.


3(06) - DISORDERLY CONDUCT - MISDEMEANOR

The act of engaging in fighting or threatening, or in violent tumultuous behavior; makes unreasonable noise or offensively coarse utterance, gesture or display, or addresses abusive language to any person present; or creates a hazardous or physically offensive condition by any act which serves no legitimate purpose of the actor.


3(06A) - DISTURBING THE PEACE - MISDEMEANOR

The crime of acting in a way that disrupts the public order or disturbs the peace and tranquility of a community.


3(06B) - INDECENT EXPOSURE - MISDEMEANOR

Displaying one's genitalia to another individual, usually with the apparent intent to shock the unsuspecting viewer and give the exposure a sexual charge.


3(06C) - UNLAWFUL ASSEMBLY - MISDEMEANOR

The meeting of three or more persons with the intent to disturb the public peace.


3(06D) - INCITING A RIOT - FELONY

Willfully Inciting or urging others to engage in a riot.


3(07) - POSSESSION OF CRIMINAL TOOLS - MISDEMEANOR

The offense of acquiring substances, devices, instruments, or articles intended to use for criminal purposes.


3(07A) - FELON IN POSSESSION OF CRIMINAL TOOLS - FELONY

The offense of acquiring substances, devices, instruments, or articles intended to use for criminal purposes while under felony status.


3(08) - CRIMINAL SOLICITATION - FELONY

The act of enticing, advising, encouraging, or urging someone else to commit a crime.


TITLE 4 - CRIMES AGAINST PUBLIC JUSTICE


4(01) - BRIBERY OF A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL - FELONY

The act or practice of offering, giving, a bribe to a government official.


4(01A) - ATTEMPTED BRIBERY OF A GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL - FELONY

The attempted act or practice of offering, giving, a bribe to a government official.


4(02) - POSSESSION OF CONTRABAND IN A GOVERNMENT FACILITY - FELONY

Making, possessing, or obtaining, or attempts to make or obtain a prohibited object while in a Government Facility


4(03) - ESCAPING CUSTODY OF A PEACE OFFICER - FELONY

Unlawfully escaping or attempting to escape from the custody or control of any peace officer while placed under lawful arrest.


4(04) - ESCAPING CUSTODY OF A GOVERNMENT FACILITY - FELONY

The act of unlawfully exiting a Government Facility while under incarceration.


4(04A) - ACCESSORY TO ESCAPING CUSTODY OF A GOVERNMENT FACILITY - FELONY

Assisting with the unlawful exit of a Government Facility or failing to notify authorities.


4(04B) - ATTEMPTED ESCAPE OF A GOVERNMENT FACILITY - FELONY

The aborted act of unlawfully exiting a Government Facility while under incarceration.


4(05) - VIOLATION OF A RESTRAINING ORDER - MISDEMEANOR

Failure to adhere to the lawful judgment, decree, order, or process set in place to protect an individual due to a violent crime, harassment issue, destruction of protected property or persons.


4(06) - UNLAWFUL PRACTICE OF LAW BY A NON-MEMBER OF THE STATE BAR - FELONY

Whoever in a representative capacity appears as an advocate or draws papers, pleadings or documents, or performs any act in connection with proceedings pending or prospective before a court or a body, board, committee, commission or officer constituted by law or having authority to take evidence in or settle or determine controversies in the exercise of the judicial power of the state or any subdivision thereof.


4(07) - MISUSE OF EMERGENCY SYSTEMS - MISDEMEANOR

Falsification or overuse of the emergency response resources when no actual emergency exists and when the caller does not have a good faith basis to request emergency assistance.


4(08) - VIOLATION OF A COURT ORDER - MISDEMEANOR

Failure to adhere to the lawful judgment, decree, order, or process set in place due to a violent crime, harassment issue, destruction of protected property or persons.


4(09) - EVIDENCE TAMPERING - FELONY

The intentional alteration, movement, removal, or addition of any object or substance with intent of distorting the results of an investigation.


4(10) - FAILURE TO APPEAR - MISDEMEANOR

Failure of a defendant or respondent to appear in court when called upon.


4(11) - CONTEMPT OF COURT - FELONY

The offense of being disobedient toward or disrespectful of a court of law and its officers in the form of behavior that opposes or defies the authority, justice, and dignity of the court.

4(11A) - PERJURY - FELONY

The act of intentionally providing false information or deliberately lying while under oath.


4(12) - OBSTRUCTION OF JUSTICE - MISDEMEANOR

Interference with the orderly administrations of law and justice.


4(13) - FAILURE TO PROVIDE IDENTIFICATION - MISDEMEANOR

Refusal to provide your legal name or identification card when asked by a peace officer, or public servant during any appropriate lawful situation.


4(14) - RESISTING ARREST - FELONY

Preventing or hindering a lawful arrest by peace officers.


4(14A) - DISOBEYING A LAWFUL ORDER - MISDEMEANOR

Willfully failing or refusing to comply with any order that is authorized by and is not contrary to substantive law from peace officers.


4(15) - VIGILANTISM - FELONY

Practice of ordinary individuals in a place taking unofficial action to prevent crime or to catch and punish individuals believed to be criminals. 


4(16) - HARBORING A FUGITIVE - MISDEMEANOR

Knowingly or willfully concealing or hiding a wanted criminal from peace officers.


4(16A) - AIDING AND ABETTING - MISDEMEANOR

This is a person who harbors, conceals, or aids someone else with knowledge that this other person committed a felony, and does so in order to protect the other person from arrest, trial, conviction or sentencing.


4(17) - DESTRUCTION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY - MISDEMEANOR

The act of destroying property with a result of less than $10,000 in damages.


4(17A) - CRIMINAL DESTRUCTION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY - FELONY

The act of destroying property with a result of more than $10,000 in damages.


4(17B) - DESTRUCTION OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY - MISDEMEANOR

The act of destroying Government property with a result of less than $10,000 in damages.


4(17C) - CRIMINAL DESTRUCTION OF GOVERNMENT PROPERTY - FELONY

The act of destroying Government Property with a result of more than $10,000 in damages.


4(17D) - DESTROYING/TAMPERING OF A GOVERNMENT ASSIGNED TRACKING DEVICE - FELONY

Criminal act of removing, tampering, or destroying any device given to an individual by a peace officer.


4(18) - EVASION - FELONY

Actions taken by a person to avoid law enforcement, arrest, or the legal consequences of their actions. 


4(19) - IDENTITY THEFT - FELONY

The Act in which an individual wrongfully obtains and uses another person's personal information, such as their name, Social Security number, credit card information, or other identifying details, usually for financial gain.


4(20) - BLACKMAIL - FELONY

The Act of threatening to reveal embarrassing, disgraceful, or damaging information about a person unless they comply with certain demands or requests.


TITLE 5 - FIREARM & WEAPON RELATED CRIMES 

5(01) - CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CLASS 1 WEAPON - FELONY

The state of having, owning, or controlling melee weapons, stun weapons, and Ammunition bought firearms such as pistols and hunting rifles while under felony status.


5(01A) - CRIMINAL POSSESSION OF A CLASS 2 WEAPON - FELONY

The state of having, owning, or controlling firearms such as semi automatic pistols not legally sold, while under felony status.


5(01B) - POSSESSION OF A CLASS 3 WEAPON - FELONY

The state of having, owning, or controlling firearms such as automatic weapons and automatic ammunition.


5(01C) - POSSESSION OF A CLASS 4 WEAPON - FELONY

The state of having, owning, or controlling explosive ordinances, and explosive ordinance delivery.


5(02) - POSSESSION OF A CLASS 1 WEAPON WITH INTENT TO SELL - FELONY

The state of having, owning, or controlling melee weapons and firearms such as standard rifles while under felony status, with the intent to distribute or sell.


5(02A) - POSSESSION OF A CLASS 2 WEAPON WITH INTENT TO SELL - FELONY

The state of having, owning, or controlling firearms such as semi automatic pistols while under felony status, with the intent to distribute or sell.


5(02B) - POSSESSION OF A CLASS 3 WEAPON WITH INTENT TO SELL - FELONY

The state of having, owning, or controlling firearms such as semi automatic rifles and automatic weapons with intent to distribute or sell.


5(02C) - POSSESSION OF A CLASS 4 WEAPON WITH INTENT TO SELL - FELONY

The state of having, owning, or controlling firearms such as explosive ordinances, and explosive ordinance delivery with intent to distribute or sell.


5(03) - CRIMINAL USE OF WEAPON - MISDEMEANOR

Possessing a prohibited weapon with intent to sell or used in criminal activities.


5(03A) - POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL FIREARM MODIFICATIONS/ATTACHMENTS - FELONY

The possession of any firearm with modifications non standard to how it was sold that affect a firearms firing/damage capabilities or the ability to identify the weapon such as serial numbers.


5(03B) - POSSESSION OF ILLEGAL FIREARM MODIFICATIONS/ATTACHMENTS WITH INTENT TO SELL - FELONY

The possession of any firearm with modifications non standard to how it was sold that affect a firearms firing/damage capabilities or the ability to identify the weapon such as serial numbers, with the intent to distribute or sell them.


5(04) - WEAPON TRAFFICKING - FELONY

The act of buying or selling any classified weapon except under license.


5(05) - BRANDISHING OF A WEAPON - MISDEMEANOR

The act of drawing or exhibiting a firearm (whether loaded or unloaded) in a rude, angry, or threatening manner.


5(06) - UNLAWFUL DISCHARGE OF A FIREARM - FELONY

When a person willfully or negligently discharged a firearm in a manner which could result in injury or death to a person.


5(07) - POSSESSION OF A FIREARM WITHOUT A LICENSE - FELONY

The crime of possessing a firearm without a state issued firearms license.


5(07A) - POSSESSION OF A FIREARM WITH A SUSPENDED LICENSE - FELONY

The crime of possessing a firearm of any type while the person’s firearms license is suspended.


5(07B) - POSSESSION OF A FIREARM NOT REGISTERED TO THE SUBJECT - FELONY

The crime of possessing a firearm of any type while the person’s firearm is not registered to the individual using it. 


5(07C) - FELON IN POSSESSION OF A FIREARM - FELONY

The crime of possessing a firearm while being an active felon who is on probation.


5(08) - ILLEGAL MANUFACTURE OF FIREARMS - FELONY

The crime of manufacturing legal and/or illegal firearms without a proper license.


5(09) - POSSESSION OF A STOLEN FIREARM - FELONY
